How it works

Step 1 – Purchase the template

Purchase the Automated Sales OS and duplicate it into your Notion workspace.

Step 2 – Perform initial clean-up

Clean-up the demo data by following detailed instructions in the set-up guide provided in the template

Step 3 – Activate automation

You’ll get access to the Make.com scenario:

  • You will need a free Make.com account to get you started
  • Connect your Gumroad (and/or Notion Marketplace) account.
  • The automation watches for new sales.
  • When a sale happens: the workflow writes a new entry in your Notion database (with all the sale data) + flags your notification if you choose.
  • If the sale is a paid sale, you will get a notification, regardless of a marketplace where the sale happened.
  • Then your dashboard inside Notion updates automatically — so you always open with the latest numbers.

Step 4 – Use, review, scale

Open Notion each morning (or whenever).

Check your dashboard: what sold yesterday, what’s the weekly trend, what’s your best-selling product. Make decisions: launch new promos, pivot a product, focus on the high-performers. All inside Notion.

    Automated Sales OS is intended for digital product creators selling their products on Gumroad and Notion Marketplace who want a fully automatic sales tracking system that works out of a box.
  2. What is Notion?
    Notion is a free-to-use single digital space where you can think, write, and plan. Capture thoughts, manage projects, or even run an entire company — and do it exactly the way you want.

    Automated Sales OS is built inside Notion because it provides the perfect software needed to visualize and track your digital product sales. It's is easy to use and set up even with no prior knowledge of Notion.
  3. How do I learn Notion?
    There are plenty of good video resources on YouTube, but the best course that I have found and that I used to learn Notion is in Notion Wizards community on Skool. It is a free community on Skool (which is a paid platform BUT with 14 day free trial period). This will teach you everything you need to go from beginner to expert in no-time.
  4. Do I need to be on a paid Notion plan to use this template?
    Yes. Since Automated Sales OS relies heavily on the Charts which are currently a paid feature, in order to utilize Sales OS properly, you will need a paid plan.
  5. What happens after I purchase?
    After your purchase, you will be redirected to a Notion page containing the template. From here, you can duplicate the template into your own workspace in 1 click. You will also get a Make.com preset that you import into Make, and connect your Notion Account.
  6. Do I need to know Make.com or code ?
    No. The automation is pre-built. You only connect your accounts and map the scenario once using our (step-by-step) guide that will be provided with the automation.
  7. Does this work with Gumroad and Notion Marketplace?
    Yes — the template is built with both in mind. The automation currently supports Gumroad & Notion Marketplace, and we’ll shortly support other marketplaces as needed. The database is marketplace-agnostic.
  8. Can I make changes to this template?
    Of course. Templates are meant to be customized to your own needs, so after duplicating you can and should edit it as much as you like. Be careful though when modifying existing field names if you are using automation, or alternatively update them in you Make.com dashboard.
  9. What happens if I already have a spreadsheet tracking sales?
    Great. You can import your historical data into the Notion database easily (via CSV import) and then continue inside the dashboard. With the automation upgrade, you’ll stop having to update spreadsheets.
  10. Do you offer any discounts?
    I am still building my template library, but when more templates come online there will be bundles for up to 50% off. Also during holiday periods there are flash sales with similar discounts.
  11. Can I share this with anyone else?
